![Door Scope Monitor Door Scope Monitor]()
This is a simple self-installation system for checking who is on the other side of your door. The Door Scope Monitor fits over your peephole, offering a 120-degree angle of vision displayed on the 3.5-inch monitor that fits on the inside of your door. It turns on if it detects movement or when the doorbell is rung. The system comes with its own doorbell as part of the unit that you can attach to the outside of the door.
While there are plenty of more sophisticated systems out there, Thanko's solution to this universal problem of home security is very straightforward and doesn't require any kind of major alteration or construction work on your door.
After you've set it up you can always check who is lurking outside or who has rung the bell. This is what the system can record during the day.
And here is the video quality at night using infrared light. While the system cannot record audio, the video display on the monitor provides an instant way to check if there is someone or something outside your door that you should be worried about.
The unit records either video as AVI files or still images as JPG, and also comes with a zoom for when you need to get a closer look at what's lying beyond your front door.
